Стивен Джон Хант (англ. Stephen John Hunt; род. 1954) — британский социолог и религиовед, профессор социологии Университета Западной Англии. Основной сферой научных интересов Ханта является социологическое изучение новых религиозных движений, в частности харизматического движения и новых пятидесятнических церквей.
В 1995 году Стивен Хант защитил докторскую диссертацию в Редингском университете на тему пятидесятнического движения в США. В период с 1988 по 2001 год преподавал на кафедре социологии Редингского университета и параллельно — на кафедре религиоведения Суррейского университета.
Стивен Хант является автором ряда монографий: «Альтернативные вероисповедания: социологическое введение» («Alternative Religions: A Sociological Introduction»), «The Life Course: A Sociological Introduction» (2005), «Religion in Western Society» (2002) и «The Alpha Enterprise» (2004). Под его научной редакцией также была издана книга «Christian Millenarianism: From the Early Church to Waco».
С 2006 года Стивен Хант является редактором научного журнала по изучению пятидесятничества «Pentecostudies».
