Тимоти Дэвид Снайдер (англ. Timothy David Snyder; 18 сентября 1969) — американский историк. Профессор Йельского университета. Специалист по истории Восточной Европы и, в частности, Украины, Беларуси, Литвы, Польши и России нового времени. Исследует проблемы национализма, тоталитаризма и холокоста.
Член Совета по международным отношениям
Владеет польским, украинским и русским языками.

Ранние годы
Научная карьера
Учился в Браунском университете (1987—1991) и Оксфордском университете (1991—1995).
Докторскую степень получил в 1997 году в Оксфорде. Работал в Национальном центре научных исследований (CNRS, Франция в 1994—1995 гг.), а также в Венском институте наук про человека (Institut fr die Wissenschaften vom Menschen).
Профессор Йельского университета.
Труды Снайдера опубликованы на английском, польском, немецком, русском, украинском, литовском, чешском, французском, словацком, белорусском и испанском языках.
